The gauge allows you to see the moisture level of your reed. letting you know if you need to add moisture. The rod keeps humidified air surrounding the chanter reed. The cap absorbs moisture when reed is wet and provides moisture when the reed is dry. Recharge kits, replacement alert caps and replacement rods are also available separately.
